Not bad for the price!
We stayed 2 nights as a couple. The location was solid & the staff were super friendly. Our room had a microwave, which was great! breakfast was just continental and could've been better. Still, we loved the variety of teas & those little biscuits were a nice touch!

The Standard Studio was super cozy! Loved how clean it was and the quality towels were a nice touch. The windows opened for fresh air, and I had a great view. Only downside was a loud convo outside early one morning. The heating worked perfectly, and having plenty of toiletries was awesome. Plus, the staff were really helpful when I lost my key. Definitely a good stay!

i had a really nice stay at the beachcomber with my son. the shower set up was perfect for me since i'm a bit disabled. the hotel is super clean and quiet, which was great for our visit to see family. plus, the location is awesome, just a short drive from the beach and town. we will definitely stay here again next time we visit nelson.
the only thing that could be improved is the check-in process, it was a bit confusing to find our room. also, the heating could have been a little better.

great place but room for improvement
The location is perfect for beach lovers—just a short walk away! The garden view added a lovely touch to our stay, providing a serene backdrop. Having a microwave in our room made it easy to prepare light meals, which was very convenient.
The layout of the room could be more intuitive, as it took some time to find everything.

The spacious room featured a great air conditioning unit, which was much appreciated during the peak summer heat. Having easy access to a variety of dining options nearby enhanced our experience. the dated kitchenette and the poor condition of the bathroom were disappointing. noise from outside could be an issue, particularly in the mornings when it’s time to relax. The location's proximity to the beach and local eateries is a definite positive.

We had a fantastic time staying here! The location is stunning, with a lovely beach just a stroll away. The apartment was spacious, perfect for our large family, and we enjoyed relaxing on the couch watching Sky after our adventures in Abel Tasman.
